This policy lists the cookies and browser storage HyperNoesis uses. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Nothing analytics-related runs before you answer it.
You can change your mind whenever you like through Cookie preferences in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent stops further collection and removes the analytics identifiers from your browser.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to work and are not optional.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
hypernoesis.session_token | Keeps you signed in | Session / persistent if you stay signed in |
locale | Remembers whether you are using English or Greek | Persistent |
c15t | Remembers your cookie choice so we stop asking | Persistent |
Analytics — only with your consent
These are set by PostHog, and only after you accept.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ph_<project>_posthog | Distinguishes one visitor from another so usage can be counted | Persistent |
__ph_opt_in_out_<project> | Records that you opted in | Persistent |
PostHog also uses browser local storage under the same key for the same purpose.
Accepting analytics also enables session replay, which records how you move through the interface so we can see where it is confusing. Text you type into form fields is masked and is not recorded.
Error monitoring
Error reports are sent to Sentry when something breaks, regardless of your cookie choice, under our legitimate interest in keeping the service working. This is not a cookie: no identifier is stored in your browser for it, and the reports carry only your account identifier, not your cookies, your IP address or the contents of your request.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent parts of the site from working.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above.
